Delete Your Account
1 Delete Your Account Inside the App
The fastest way to delete your account and all associated data is directly inside Taskaro. This is fully automated and takes effect immediately.

1Open Taskaro on your device Make sure you are signed in with your Google account.

2Go to Settings Tap the Settings icon (gear icon) from the main screen or bottom navigation.

3Scroll to the "Account" section Find the Delete Account option shown in red at the bottom of the Settings screen.

4Tap "Delete Account" and confirm A confirmation dialog will appear. Tap Delete to permanently delete your account. This cannot be undone.
⚠ This action is permanent and cannot be reversed. Once deleted, your account and all data cannot be recovered.
2 What Data Is Deleted vs. Kept
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

Your Google account itself is not deleted. Only your Taskaro account and the data Taskaro stored on your behalf is removed. To delete your Google account, visit myaccount.google.com.
3 Can't Access the App? Request Manual Deletion
If you no longer have access to the app or your device, you can request account deletion by emailing us. We will process your request within 30 days.
Please include the following in your email so we can locate and delete your account:
- The email address linked to your Google account in Taskaro
- Your Firebase UID (if known — found in app settings or from a previous sign-in email)
- Subject line: "Taskaro Account Deletion Request"
Send your deletion request to our support address and we'll handle it promptly.
Email Deletion Request4 Data Retention After Deletion
All data stored directly by Taskaro (tasks, notes, account info) is deleted immediately and permanently when you use the in-app Delete Account feature.
Data held by third-party services used by Taskaro follows those services' own retention policies:
- Firebase / Google: Analytics events may be retained for up to 14 months per Google's standard retention. Crashlytics logs may be retained for up to 90 days. See Firebase Privacy.
- RevenueCat: Purchase and subscription records are retained as required by financial regulations. See RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
We do not have the ability to delete data held by third-party providers on your behalf beyond our own data. For requests relating to Google's data, use Google's My Account privacy controls.
