Taskaro can be used without creating an account — your tasks and notes will be stored only on your device. To enable cloud sync, you may sign in using your Google account.
4.1 Account Responsibility
If you sign in with Google, you are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your Google account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account

5 User Content
All tasks, notes, and other data you create within Taskaro ("User Content") remain your property. We do not claim ownership of your User Content.
5.1 License to Store and Sync
By choosing to enable cloud sync, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to store and sync your User Content via Firebase Firestore solely for the purpose of providing the cloud sync feature to you. This license terminates when you delete your data or your account.
5.2 Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the content you enter into Taskaro. You represent and warrant that:
- You have the right to store and sync any User Content you enter
- Your User Content does not violate any applicable law
- Your User Content does not infringe the intellectual property rights or privacy rights of any third party
5.3 No Review of Content
We do not actively monitor or review User Content. However, we reserve the right to remove or refuse to sync content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

You agree to use Taskaro only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the App in any way that violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App, its servers, or any connected systems
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App (except as permitted by law or the MIT license referenced in Section 8)
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the App in a way not intended for normal use

- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
- Store personal data of third parties without their consent in a way that violates applicable privacy laws
Violation of these acceptable use conditions may result in immediate termination of your access to the cloud sync features without notice.
7 Third-Party Services
Taskaro integrates with third-party services that have their own terms and policies:
- Google Firebase (Google LLC): used for authentication and cloud storage. Your use of Firebase through Taskaro is subject to Google's Firebase Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google Sign-In: your use of Google Sign-In is subject to Google's Terms of Service.
- Meeting links: Taskaro allows you to attach links to external meeting services (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams). These links are entered by you and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Taskaro. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms.
We are not responsible for the practices, content, or availability of third-party services accessed through or mentioned in the App.
8 Intellectual Property
8.1 Taskaro Brand
The Taskaro name, logo, app design, and all associated branding are owned by the developer and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use the Taskaro name or logo without our prior written consent.
8.2 Open-Source Code
The Taskaro application source code is licensed under the MIT License, a copy of which is available in the project repository. The MIT License permits you to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the software, subject to the conditions of that license. The MIT License does not grant rights to use the Taskaro name, logo, or branding.
8.3 Your Content
All User Content (tasks, notes, etc.) you create in the App remains your intellectual property, as described in Section 5.
9 Disclaimer of Warranties
